Punkbuster Problem (Solution)

People i'm back in the game i just played battlefield 3 again without crashing or punkbuster error.

* THIS IS HOW I CAN PLAY AFTER 3 DAYS *

Step 1: Go to your Battlefield 3 Folder (C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Battlefield 3) & Delete the pb folder.

Step 2: Go to your c drive and navigate to the following location (C:\Users\YourName\Appadata\ Local\) & Delete the PunkBuster folder.

Step 3: Naviagte to your Battlefield 3 folder at (C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Battlefield 3) and run pbsvc.exe and choose Uninstall.

Step 4: Download & Run CCleaner and clean your register.

Step 5: Navigate to your (C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Battlefield 3) folder and run pbsvc.exe again but this time choose Install.

Step 6: Download pbsetup.exe here: http://websec.evenbalance.com/downloader/download.php?file=1 and run the program and choose Add Game and choose Battlefield 3 and Update it.

Step 7: Try to join a server so a new Punkbuster folder will be created at (C:\Users\YourName\Appadata\ Local\) WARNING: The game will give the same error again but it needs to create the folder. 

Step 8: Now this is the problem why people can't even join ANY server, after the game has crashed go to your (C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\pb\) folder and copy the htm & dll folder ! Now navigate to your (C:\Users\YourName\Appadata\Local\PunkBuster\) folder and paste these 2 folders there. (If you look the htm and dll folder is EMPTY at first !!)

Step 9: Try to join this server: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/servers/show/1be04f6c-f35e-478b-aaaf-5a31b12ee83b/METRO-24-7-1000-Tickets-Madness-SWE/

Step 10: After you left the server you will notice when you want to join the next time it'll crash again witht hat stupid punkbuster error, what you need to do is navigate to your (C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\pb\htm\) folder and delete wa001386.htm & wc002287.htm file

Step 11: Enjoy playing battlefield 3.

Note: Also make sure you've got pbsec.htm and pbsecv.htm in your (C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\pb\)

Another crap from PB for 14 of Feb. I'll look at the server if anyone is playing, but when i was trying to start it some people came, and got DC'ed from it just after seconds i did too.

It is ridiculous.

This is a pretty good server you can count on when you want to play.
They didn't have a single problem on valentines day, thanks to KB Korsakoff for bumping into this server 

CFCN, any news on if youse will be getting a 64 server?

Yes its possible in month, we are near to close Eagle II (Oman) and rise slots on Eagle I to 64 instead. Or maybe in the first step up to 48 a.e.    What you are thinking about it Endy ? Is it looks good or maybe the better is jump into the highest capacity ?

By the way: Why exactly 64 slots ?

I play on a 64 slots server on caspian border alot and i have to say i have more fun on a 64 than on a 32 slot server.

The problem i have with the White Eagle server is that i get kicked everytime when the map changes or i get a connection timed out when playing.

Very strange but possible, maybe this is the main problem with low position of the server (much lowest than earlier) ....  I have to speak with Ptica about it, maybe we need to reconfigure smthng ...

same here. 64 slots would be nice to see but if the hardware/connection is capable to handle with it ?
